The Aliveness Project Improves Quality of Life

David Abele, a Realtor with the Twin Cities-focused ARESI Group, is highly-involved in the Minneapolis community and supports a number of local organizations. David Abele has previously collected donations for The Aliveness Project, a nonprofit that coordinates support programs for people living with HIV.

Since 1985, The Aliveness Project has connected Minneapolis residents living with HIV with essential resources and practical support. Any Minneapolis resident with an official HIV diagnosis can join The Aliveness Project at no cost. The nonprofit also offers free HIV testing three times a week to the public. The organization’s programming ensures that people with HIV can lead healthy, fulfilling lives by ensuring access to food and medical care.

The Aliveness Project offers case management services for newly diagnosed individuals and holistic therapy techniques that help boost the immune system. The organization also hosts social events to help participants build a community and form meaningful connections with others.
